We are looking for the follwoing experts:
1. Team Leader :
Qualification & experience: Master's degree in project management/ urban planning/ infrastructure planning/ urban management/ urban ecological planning/ urban environmental management/ construction management/ municipal engineering/regional planning/municipal finance/urban development or related discipline and after Bachelors with minimum 15 years, but desirable 20 yearsof relevant experience in local development and decentralization programs. multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
2. Senior Urban Planning Expert:Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture with Master's degree inurban/regional planning or related subjects and after Bachelors with minimum 15years, but desirable 20 years of experience in spatial and urban capital investment planning. multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
3. Senior Municipal Engineer:Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other relevant field and afterBachelors with minimum of 15 years, but desirable 20 years of experience in asset management.multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
4. Senior Fuinancial Management Expert:
Qualification & experience: Master's degree in business studies/business administration with specialization in finance/accounts, or a relevant professional qualification such as a CA, CPA, CIMA etc and after Bachelors with minimum 15 years, but desirable 20 years of experience of financial management in infrastructure development projects.multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
5. Monitoring & evaluation: Qualification & experience: Master's degree in engineering/ urban planning/economics/ statistics /sociology or relevant subjects and after Bachelors with minimum of 5 years, but desirable l0 yearsof experience in supporting the development / strengthening of the overall M&E system. multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
6. Social Development Specialist: Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in social science/sociology/ development, gender and inclusion), or any other relevant discipline, or Master's in relevant field and after Bachelors with minimum of 5 years, but desirable 10 years' experience related to community and stakeholder engagement, including experience working at the municipality level.multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
7. Procurement & Contract management: Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and Master's degree in engineering or construction management or business administration or any related discipline with minimum l0 years, but desirable 15 years of working experience in procurement and contract management indevelopment projects financed by the government and / or development partners.ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
8. Revenue Expert: Qualification & experience: Master’s degree in finance and / or economics or public finance or governance and public policy or business or statistics or any related field and after bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years, but desirable 15 years of experience in tax and revenue administration, investigation & analysis with government or donor funded projects. Ability to work and write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
9. Governance Cum Leagal Expert:Qualification & experience: Master's degree social science/political science/ law / human rights or any other relevant discipline and after Bachelors with minimum of 10 years, but desirable 15 years of working experience in the area of governance or law particularly in the development sectors. preferably have Good understanding of current governance and law related policies of the Government of Nepal and familiar with federalism related initiatives at three tiers of government ofNepal. multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
10. Curriculum development Expert: Qualification & experience: Bachelor's degree in management or any related disciplines with minimum 10 years, but desirable 15 years of experience in developing institutional capacities and providing technical assistance in the field of curricula development preparation and implementation. multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
11. Institutional Development Expert: Qualification & experience: Master's degree in discipline of development studies/management or any relevant fields and after Bachelor's minimum 10 years, but desirable l5 years of working experience in organization development activities including O&M survey, human resource management in public institutions and training needs assessment.multilateral funded projectssuch as World Bank, ADB, etc. / ability to work & write in both English and Nepali would be an added advantage.
