Surveyor Mid Level

Job Description

· Undertake land/topography/hydrographic surveys using appropriate equipment and technology;

· Analyze data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Land Development, GIS and others as appropriate;

· Prepare topographical maps, drawings (L-Section, X-Sections etc.);

· Check and verify control points, traverse and update the data as required;

· Check line and levels at the construction site and conduct joint survey as required;

· Monitor the survey works of consultant and contractor wherever necessary;

.· Prepare maps and calculate the land requirement for project site (such as project road, camp area, permanent housing, project components, construction and equipment yard, quarry etc.) for land acquisition and lease purpose;

· Report any deviation observed on survey data to PM and update maps as necessary;

· Assist PM on surveying related works and to prepare survey reports and other progress reports;

 · Perform any other duties as assigned by the PM/PD.
