Senior information Security Engineer

Job Description

Required qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree in an information technology discipline or equivalent IT experience required Relevant IT security certifications including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH or SANS certifications are expected

• Demonstrable background in security products and technologies, security engineering, networking protocols, security analysis, network and endpoint forensics, and investigations Expert level understanding of the cyber kill chain, pervasive threat attack methods, and remediation

• Strong knowledge about network protocols, certifications in the area such as CCNA/CCNP, is preferred
  Knowledge about multiple operating systems across Windows and Unix domain

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in information security operations and/or related IT operational functions

• Skill set that includes technical level experience with one or more of the following vendor products: SonicWall, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco/SourceFire, Meraki, Sophos, HP/Aruba, Aerohive, Ruckus, etc.

Addition Requirement

The candidate must have experience with the following technologies:

• Full range of L2-L7 networking technologies and protocols, 

• NAT, Stateful firewall, IDS/IPS, web and content filtering, proxies, VPN and encryption (IPsec/SSL), PKI and key management, 802.11/WLAN, Syslog, Netflow/IPFIX, Active Directory and LDAP, 

• Reading, interpreting and creating scripts, regular expressions and/or custom signatures, virtualization platforms to include VMware, Hyper-V and AWS/Azure.
