Skills and qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 5 years of working experience. (Master’s Degree in Construction Management preferred)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in design, cost estimate, site supervision of building’s construction projects,
-
Sound knowledge in earthquake resistant building construction techniques·
-
Willing to work in humanitarian programmes and to travel to remote & difficult areas
-
Extensive experience in management of contractors, supervision of construction and infrastructure works, DRR and WASH.
-
Excellent knowledge on structural engineering calculations, construction cost estimate, bill of quantity and tender process.

Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) and AUTOCAD.

Working experience with international organization (preferably INGO’s).

Ability to supervise a team to delegate the responsibility.
-
Flexibility, resourcefulness and good communication skills.

Strong written and spoken English skills report writing, presentation and inter personnel communication
