Secondary Social Studies Teacher

Job Description

• Carry out duties in all internal and external work as assigned by the Principal.
• Ensure the smooth running of classes and assessments.
• Maintain and closely monitor the attendance of students both in class, outdoor activities and in laboratories.
• Prepare and submit a monthly syllabus coverage reports.
• Manage and implement entrance examination and block wise examinations.
• Evaluate the answer papers and submit results within the deadline.
• Regularly update the Principal on all academic issues and seek advice on any issues which need their intervention before taking action.
• Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of academic quality assurance and arrangement.

Job Specification

• Completed Bachelors Degree preferably in Social Work, Social Science or other related subjects from a recognized University.
• Excellent skills in handling classroom and students. Must be able to bring creative ideas for effective implementation of classes.
• Good command of English language (Oral and Written).
• Experience in Teaching is an advantage.
