Position – Program Manager
Location – Kathmandu
Nepal Building on Dolma's track record in attracting private and public institutional FDI in Nepal; our banking and financial specialists offer a full suite of services to improve governance, compliance and performance to raise equity, debt, blended finance to achieve their goals within, and outside, Nepal. Under the overall supervision of Managing Partner, the Program Manager will perform the following duties:
Descriptions of responsibilities
Track, respond to and manage RFIs and RFPs that are of interest within South Asia and ensure we win these mandates.
Manage the mobilisation, project management, delivery and execution of all pipelines mandates.
Manage the administration of Dolma Consulting: bank accounts, financial cash flows, audit and regulatory reporting.
Manage the social media and media relations and drive awareness, interest in Dolma Consulting.
Develop partnerships that benefit both the local business ecosystem in Nepal and originate new consulting opportunities.
Provide initial investment review, screen prospective investment opportunities for the funds being created and keep track of the investment pipeline by maintaining internal database.
Evaluate information provided by potential companies, analysis historical and projected financial statements, prepare financial models and projections including sensitivity analysis based on market developments and company growth.
Create deal sheets and analyse risk and returns in prospective deals.
Keep track of market developments particularly in relevant sectors, related government policies and changes.
Develop resource bench-strength by identifying and hiring new resources to deliver projects and programs.
Carry out industry and market research and analysis.
Help prepare and present investment deals to the investment committee, make suitable recommendations and report on the progress of the existing deals.
Meet with project developers, partners, financial institutions and consultants on matters related to the performance of projects and investments.
Participate in fund raising process by preparing for the due diligence requirements and presenting to the potential investors of the Fund.
Prepare all necessary documents for the Fund’s internal processes.
Work closely with Dolma Foundation and support its activities, from time to time, and drive synergies from this association.
Experience and Qualification
Master’s degree in Business Administration, or relevant field of studies is preferable
Three to five years of experience in program management or similar role in an international organisation.
Have fluent and strong verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Nepali.
A solution-oriented person, being a leader in providing a healthy and safe environment
Experience working with international stakeholders and government officials
Proficient in using MS office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
