Relationship Manager (RM - Officer Level) - Few


Relationship Managers (RM) are required to acquire, retain and expand our credit clientele. The incumbents are needed to identify customer needs and provide solutions and shall be well versed with credit risk assessment. They shall be accountable for business development, service and delivery. RM shall be assigned to work in Corporate/Retail/SME Banking of branches/department.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Master degree from recognized university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Bank with exposure in related filed.
  • Should have strong marketing drive to brand Bank’s Product and Services.
  • Candidates applying for Officer Level should be currently working at least in Supervisor position and for manager level at least in Senior Officer Position.
  • Should be a team player and have excellent communication skills.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle credit relationships of different clients- Retail, SME’s and corporate.
  • Acquire, develop and strengthen Banking customer relationship through efective relationship management.
  • Manage and develop credit relationships with new and existing customers through detail analysis to meet their personal and business needs.
  • Assess loan requests of customers and appraise their credit requirements following critical evaluation and risk analysis of the proposal in line with Bank’s credit policies and NRB directives.
  • Obtain and make follow ups for the documents required for new loan processing/analysis and/or renewal/enhancement/restructure/reschedule of existing credit facilities.
  • Monitor/make follow ups for taking necessary precautions and actions for timely recovery of interest/ dues and any other payments from the customers.
  • Keep proper records/ updates of credit files under the fold assigned.
  • Handle customers in regards of credit solicitation/ renewal or any other issues related to management of credit relationship.
  • Execute timely renewal of assigned credit files of the Branch credit file.
  • Execute timely loan recovery of payments/ charges/ interest* overdue/ suspense if any and as applicable.
  • Keep track and maintain record of insurance expiry, stock report and other documents related to customers as and when required in coordination with Branch’s Credit Support Unit.
  • Coordinate with cross functional departments (Branch Coordinator, CA Team, TFT, Legal, etc) for execution of credit facilities, or any issues pertaining to the customers/ credit files under the assigned fold.
  • Perform all required tasks related to the credit relationship as assigned by reporting officers as and when required.
  • Solicit deposits and help in managing the budget of the Branch.
  • Review the credit proposals, memos, etc prepared by the subordinates in credit department.
