IMPORTANT: This post is opened in the context of the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) scheme sponsored by the Government of the United Kingdom and is addressed exclusively to United Kingdom nationals. UNFPA Nepal The UNFPA Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme is intended to provide on-the-job training for young professionals who wish to obtain practical experience in development assistance. It gives them an opportunity to acquire professional knowledge in population projects in a developing country. UNFPA Nepal is currently implementing its 7th country programme (2013-2017), which contributes to three outcome areas of the 2013-2017 UNDAF and is being implemented under national leadership and through national systems, in line with UN reform and in partnership with external development partners. In line with UNFPA mandate, the programme focuses on three main areas: Sexual and Reproductive Health, Population and Development and Gender Equality and reproductive rights.
