District Programme Coordinator (based in Nawalparasi)
The District Programme Coordinator will be responsible for overall coordination of MSFP programme at the district level. He/she will represent programme in the district and ensure that priority areas/themes of MSFP are implemented effectively. The DPC will coordinate with DFO and other stakeholders on promoting institutional development of local forestry groups, climate change and sustainable forest management practices in the district. In addition, the DPC shall focus on enterprise development, livelihoods improvement activities in the district.
Minimum Requirements:
ï¶ Bachelor degree in forestry with at least 5 years experience in forest/natural resources management.
ï¶ Experience in working in NTFP and enterprise management and promotion
ï¶ Experience in working in donor funded projects and particularly in forestry related project and programme
ï¶ Experience in working in the Terai districts and most preferably in Western Terai region
ï¶ Experience in computer and communication technology
