Communications Manager, Hariyo Ban Program (based in Kathmandu)
Major Responsibilities: The Communications Manager, Hariyo Ban Program will work closely with core team members and all four Hariyo Ban consortium partners to produce communications assets and events, while consolidating communication efforts to profile the program’s key impacts and lessons. The Communications Manager will be responsible for coordinating quality control of all Hariyo Ban Program’s outreach materials including branding, media content and publication series. He/she will also oversee communication of Hariyo Ban Program’s stand on local and global issues of environmental concern in an appropriate way.
Qualifications: A Master’s degree preferably in mass communications or a related field with at least 6 years of work experience in a similar position is required. IT knowledge especially the use of audio-visual, web and designing tools will be a strong advantage. The candidate should be effectively able to prioritize and work under time constraints, using initiative and judgement. Strong interpersonal, communication and team-player skills are essential.
