Position: Civil Sub-Engineer (5 positions)
Job purpose: Supervise skills training and transfer of skills in building construction in the Cluster VDCs, monitor and report the progress of the work and conduct regular quality inspections of the ongoing construction work.
Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator, Work closely with Engineer at District
Required Education, Experience and Social Competency:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with 1 year of work experiences preferably in building construction work. Strong understanding of permanent housing using EQ resilient technology and National Building codes. Sensitivity towards issues related to gender, social equality and poverty alleviation.
Duty Station: For all three positions Nuwakot or Rasuwa (Possibility for other earthquake affected districts as per project need)
Duration: For all three positions until 31st December 2017 with possibility of extension
