Job description: Library Assistant IT
General Description
As Library Assistant IT in MC’s library department, the candidate will possess a technical knowledge of managing, recording, disseminating and controlling library and archival activities in conformity with the prevailing rules and copyright laws. The candidate will have excellent networking and coordination skills.
Primary Job Functions
Maintain library system, write programs in Java and Perl to customize Koha, create MC library's portal. Generate and manage library materials, disseminate the library resources and control over these activities. Assist the Assistant Librarian in developing and managing library development plans including the digitization of materials, material collection and management from possible sources.
