Job Description

The company is looking for dynamic and hardworking candidates for the position of LC and Insurance Accountant. The job mainly entails the overall processing of the Letter of Credit (LC) and insurance claims. Other duties and responsibilities include:

Preparing standard letters for bank, insurance and government.
Preparing Standard Expenses File
- Preparing and maintaining standard files of various kinds of LC, DAP and TT document
- Preparing and maintaining standard files of CCU to Raxual/ Hetauda/ Birjung/ Kathmandu transportation and clearing charges
- Preparing and maintaining standard files of all Insurance premiums
Negotiating rates with insurance and transportation companies to reduce premiums and rates.
Maintaining stock declaration of insurance files of all the companies and performing regular reconciliation for excess premiums

Job Specification

At least 2 years of experience in managing LC or insurance work for an organization
Sound knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC), its documents and procedures and insurance types and claims
Fluent in both Nepali and English
Sound knowledge of MS Office, email and internet
Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
