Job Description

South Asian University (SAU) is an international University focused on post-graduate teaching and research, jointly established and funded by the eight SAARC countries. SAU (located in New Delhi) is looking for outstanding, highly qualified and experienced faculty members.

Regular Faculty Positions in the following subject areas : Assistant Professor —Computer Science - 3, Life Sciences / Biological Sciences - 1, Sociology - 1. Associate Professor — International Relations - 1, Sociology - 1. Professor — Computer Science-1, Economics -1, International Relations -1, Life Sciences / Biological Sciences -1. Positions open to citizens of any country in the world. Attractive Salary in US dollars (exempt from income tax).

Organization Summary

The idea of establishing a South Asian University (SAU) was mooted by the Prime Minister of India at the 13th SAARC Summit in Dhaka in 2005. The idea was for member countries to pool their resources for creation of a Centre of Excellence in the form of a University that would provide world-class facilities and professional faculty to students and researchers drawn from every country of the SAARC region.
