Outreach, recruitment and supervision of Area Managers and Entrepreneurs
Implement and further Develop Kalpavriksha’s sales strategies with assistance of a team of Area Managers and Executive Entrepreneurs.
Training and Mentoring the Area Managers to enable them upgrade their skill sets and achieve business goals and add to the existing product portfolio.
Monitor overall sales volumes and revenue generated on a weekly basis
Continuous gathering of feedback from Entrepreneurs and Area Managers to assess performance and initiate corrective action.
Create relevant incentive schemes to retain the efficiency and productivity of the network
Prepare and present monthly network performance report to the Management team
Continuous gathering of consumer feedback and market intelligence.
Oversee the launch of new products
Work closely with the Area Managers and Operations Manager to ensure the right product mix is available to the network in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Developing relationships with Suppliers - Domestic and International - to ensure that best terms are negotiated.
Develop and create relationships outside the network, with Institutions, organizations for developing strong Business to Business network.
Track and monitor regional P & L reports and performance on a monthly basis and report to CEO while ensuring financial sustainability of the operations.
Possesses the requisite skills and expertise to achieve Sales Targets, Negotiation Skills, expertise in analysing Customer Needs,Self Motivated, skilled in Motivating Teams, Planning and Organizing Skills, Relationship Building Skills , Coaching and Mentoring Skills , Managing Processes and Market Knowledge.

Bachelor’s Degree in Management/ Sales & Marketing
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a reputable business organization in Nepal .
Experience in the Sales and Business Development function is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Experience and expertise in facilitating business-related training programs
Experience and working knowledge in record-keeping is desirable
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and online applications such as Box and Dropbox.
Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Comfortable working via Email / Skype with people inside and outside Nepal.

Kalpavriksha, a wholesale distributor of life changing products such as solar lights, metallic cookstove, water filter, grain storage bag and sanitary napkins) was established in 2011 to empower women in business. In 2011, a US based 501(c) organisation called Empower Generation partnered with Kalpavriksha provide access to solar lights in rural community through this business. The business grew successfully to include 22 women entrepreneurs plus a network of 300 sales agents across 11 districts by 2017. Kalpavriksha has sold over 56,000 solar products till date through its women led distribution network. It aims on providing high quality and affordable life changing products to the last mile customers by empowering local women to become entrepreneurs of its network.
