Quality Control (QC) Manager Mid Level

Job Description

A reputed plastic packaging industry located in Hetauda Industrial District and catering to multinational companies is looking to hire a Quality Control Manager.

The QC Manager will be expected to facilitate the plant’s quality strategy and plan, while taking operational responsibility for the QA Department/Laboratory, managing quality, hygiene and testing activities for the plant, along with accredited system requirements.

Main responsibilities:-

• Facilitate the plant’s quality strategy and plan.
• Act as principal point of contact for product quality and hygiene issues, for both customer and internally raised matters, ensuring appropriate and robust corrective action are taken to bring about swift resolution.

• Promote fact-based analysis using structured tools and techniques, to drive quality improvement and provide root cause solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate and maintain quality improvements.

• Manage QA/Laboratory team and testing programs.
•  
• Maintain the integrated ISO9001/14001 Quality/Environment system and Food Safety Management System (FSSC 22000)

Min. Qualification: Masters in Food Technology or Equivalent

Experience: At least a year’s experience working in quality control department
