Job Description

Education:

  • Completion of Master’s degree or equivalent degree in social sciences, international relations, law, economics, international development or other relevant field.  

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience working on gender-based violence, human rights, countering trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, organizing and facilitating trainings/workshops, etc.;
  • Proven expertise and knowledge of international standards and guidelines;
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power point, etc.);
  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills in English and Nepali;
  • Experience in programme and project management, including design, implementation, and monitoring of technical assistance projects;
  • Experience in advocacy and fund-raising;
  • Knowledge of UN policies, practices, standards, in particular UNODC will be an advantage.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, i.e. oral and written proficiency, is required.
