Job Description
Implement project activities at field level as per approved Project Agreement, work plan and budget in close coordination with the Finance/Admin Officer and under the guidance of CSN chairperson and SCAI. The Program officer will be focal person of all the activities of the project being implemented in their working area. This includes, but not limited to:

Start with good rapport building with concerned government, non-government organizations, civil society members, groups and other stakeholders in the district.

Regular home visits of sponsored children as per agreed monitoring schedule.

Family counseling and support
-
School visit for monitoring of student’s performance, parent teacher meetings and the like
-
Provide the students with the necessary physical and mental and emotional supportProvide career guidance, life skill knowledge and ensure the access of sponsored children to various government scholarship opportunities for better education.

Sensitize children, family, parents and ensure their access to local protection mechanism.
-
Empower children and families and enable them to claim their rights with duty bearers.
-
Group formation/mobilization and institution building.
-
Provide livelihood counseling/support/guidance and monitoring

Educational, recreational, material distribution
-
Baseline survey and profiling of students and their families
-
Engage in power mapping, resource mapping and field assessment.

Take major responsibility to identify the vulnerable children
-
Prepare case stories and submit to the organization
-
Child club/child club network formation/mobilization
-
Child Protection Working Group formation, capacity building and effective mobilization.
-
Coordination and communication to stakeholders
-
Prepare monthly report and submit to the organization and donors as per reporting calendar
-
Prepare and submit work plan and time sheet as per deadline.

Ensure the expenses occurred of the month submitted to office on time for record, payment and reporting.

Capacitate school management committee and improve quality education in working area.

Coordinate with Kalika Devi community school and act proactively for the improvement of quality education.

Visit kalika Devi school, monitor the school activities as per the bilateral agreement in between CSN and kalika Devi school and make sure school runs as per agreed terms and conditions.

Liaise with school management committee, teachers, parents and RM for effective quality education and self-sustainability of school.

Comply with CSN/SCAI existing rules, regulations, code of conducts and all policies.

Note: This date of joining duty depends on the actual approval of project by concerned authority.
