Job Description

Support for International Health and Family Planning Organizations 2 (SIFP02) is a cooperative agreement funded by USAID and implemented by Marie Stopes International Nepal/Sunaulo Parivar Nepal in 11 districts of Nepal from 2015 to 2019. MSN is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 38 countries worldwide. In Nepal, SIFP02 is a Family Planning Service Strengthening Program (FPSSP) and works for strengthening the FP services delivery system of DoHS/MoH to increase voluntary use of family planning services by increasing accessibility and availability of high quality comprehensive family planning services to the hard to reach, disadvantaged, migrants and adolescent population to achieve universal coverage in the districts and increase district level CYP.

We are looking for following people who want to embrace new ways of working, use their initiative, take on multiple tasks, be a team player, and deliver solid social and financial results to ensure we can expand our services to more men and women in Nepal. The positions require frequent travel to monitor project activities.

 

District Managers — 3 (District based- Kaski, Chitwan and Siraha)

  • Project Management and Compliance
  • External Relations and Coordination
  • Technical Guidance and Supervision
  • Clinical Standards and Client Care
  • Team Management

Required : 

  • Medical Doctor with MBBS registered in Nepal Medical Council

OR

  • BN/BSc. Nurse registered in Nepal Nursing Council, preferably with additional post graduate degree in public health
  • Preferably trained on family planning including CoFP & Counseling, Implant, IUCD, NSV/Minilap, Clinical Training Skills (CTS)
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring project interventions at district level, preferably related to family planning and funded by USAID
