Job Description

Clinical Trainer and Quality Auditor (Suitably qualified and licensed BSc Nurses or above, based at Pokhara)

Candidates must be qualified as Bachelor Degree in Nursing or above and registered with Nepal Nursing Council, fit to undertake responsibilities of the job visiting centres and patients in hilly remote areas, and a minimum of 10 years of work experience after the licence.

Required Background and Experience:
 
Proven experience in working in a clinical mentoring/teaching role is essential. Working in quality assurance role is also desirable. You will need to be able to teach and facilitate learning of Nurses and HAs and at the same time encourage them to deliver high quality healthcare to defined standards of clinical practice. In particular, you will ensure correct use of medical equipment, cleanliness and infection control, good record management etc. Experience of clinic management and treatment of chronic diseases such as Diabetes, COPD, hypertension and elderly care will be extremely relevant for us. Above all, the most important aspect is teaching skills.
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting 21 Area Welfare Centres across the country on a regular basis. You will most likely be 'on the road' for up to 50% of the time. You will be responsible for undertaking formal documented assessments of how the clinical care is delivered and fix wherever possible any deficiencies by being able to educate the health providers, or to identify and resource more complicated learning needs.

REMUNERATIONS

We offer competitive salaries with Provident Fund, Gratuity and one-month's pay as festival bonus. Medical cover as per GWT(N) regulations. The above jobs are offered for 2 years initially and may be extended on the basis of performance and need. Interviews for all positions will be in English.
