Café Coffee Day (Nepal) is a division of India’s largest coffee conglomerate in Nepal - Coffee Day Global Limited (CDGL), Café Coffee Day (CCD) is a pioneer in India, having established India’s largest, and arguably most preferred café chain.CCD comes from a rich 140-year coffee growing heritage. Its story began in Chikmagalur, a town in South India, known as the birthplace of coffee in India. It was here that a traditional family owned a few coffee estates which yielded rich coffee beans. The family’s expertise in operating coffee plantations since 1870, and exquisite coffee grown here, coupled with a deep understanding of the coffee business helped them build a hugely successful coffee empire which culminated in the formation of CDGL in 1993.
