Job Description
Head of Operations is an exciting and challenging position at Dolma Advisors Pvt. Ltd. to ensure operational efficiency of the internal team as well as operational and compliance advice Dolma Impact Fund’s portfolio companies. The position requires deep experience in office management, HR management, and good governance, with a background of working with international stakeholders and local authorities. The Head of Operations is an executive position reporting directly to the CEO.
Dolma Advisors Pvt. Ltd. is a consulting firm providing investment advice to international investors including Dolma Impact Fund – the first international private equity fund for Nepal, investing in various sectors and making sustainable and positive social and environmental impact.
Based in Kathmandu Nepal, the Head of Operations will perform the following duties:
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Establish, manage and implement internal organizational processes and systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the organization

Ensure organization’s compliance such as company filings, taxes, HR, record management, and reporting to investors as required

Develop relationships and coordinate interactions with regulatory authorities such as NRB, DOI, IRD, etc.

Manage vendor/contractor relationship and ensure smooth operational processes such as office maintenance, inventory management, event management, marketing, procurement, etc.

Oversight of operational budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting

Develop HR management plan and employee development system

Coordinate with Investment team and E&S Team to support investee companies in development of management, HR and governance systems

Ensure compliance of investee companies with agreed International and local regulations

Provide support to investee companies in improving operational standards, governance and reporting standards
Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or relevant field of studies is preferable

Six to eight years of experience in operational management, office administration, HR and international governance

Have fluent and strong verbal and written communication skills, in both English and Nepali
-
A solution-oriented person, being a leader in providing a healthy and safe environment

Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. Must show initiative, have a dynamic personality and professional demeanor in a fast moving office

Experience working with international stakeholders and government officials

Proficient in using MS office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as accounting tools such as Tally
