Position: Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Expert
No. of Vacancy: 1 (Female)
Job Duration: 18 Months
Job Location: Province 1 (Location will be determined later) with frequent travel to project sites.
Salary: Merit Based
Key Roles, Qualifications, and Experience
Under the direct supervision of the team leader;

Contribute to mainstream GESI principles and approaches in all capacity development initiatives under the project;

Orient and build the capacity of municipalities, elected representative on GESI related matters as and when necessary;

Support in advocacy of and lobbying with municipalities for issues and opportunities related to GESI and empowerment of elected women and other social groups;

A master degree in economics, political science, gender studies, development studies or equivalent with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of gender equity and social inclusion (GESI).

She should be familiar with the approaches of GESI mainstreaming throughout the Knowledge on social and behavioral competencies and experience in the field of federalization and local governance would be an additional advantage.

She should have good communication skills and demonstrated skills and knowledge on facilitation of the training/workshop etc.
