Job Description

Engineer- 1:Field based(Sindhupalchok) – full time till June, 2019 with possibility of extension.

Engineer will be responsible for overall construction project work of the organization. The position holder will work closely with the Director and with an engineering team in Germany.  This position is responsible for on the ground oversight of construction of drinking water supply and responsible to implement the project including quality control.

Key requirements

• Completed sub-engineer course from recognized institution with at least 2 year working experience or BE with 1 year experience in rural water supply system.
• Willing to stay in working site.
• Self-motivated and strong computer skills.
• Having good presentation and communication skills.
• Must be fluent in both verbal and written English.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for design, implementation/construction, follow up, quality control and evaluation of drinking water supply project in community.

• Coordination with government agencieswith in the district as well as in the local level.
• Provide bi- weekly reports to Nepal office and German Organization.
• Will connect directly to the German Organizationvia Skype and email as per the need and share all the updates of the project.
• Other duties assigned by Director and German Organization.
