Duties and responsibilities in relationship with Executive Program Director
1. Support in developing the Programme Curriculum, build Academic Calendar and build schedule/reschedule batches and coordinate with the Quality Assurance Department for final approval.
2. Support the marketing team to create materials exclusive to marketing.
3. Conduct classes if qualified as scheduled ensuring the utmost quality.
4. Closely monitor the skill level of fellow faculties, and coordinate with the Quality department to introduce feasible schemes to upgrade skills of faculties when necessary.
5. Assist in the creation and production of other printed material as needed.
6. Closely monitor the attendance of fellow faculties and recommend for discipline if someone has a record of breaching the policy regularly.
7. Oversee the attendance records of students. Inform the Discipline In-charge (DI) [Student Service in absence of DI] if consistent irregularity is reported
8. Organize departmental meetings and communicate necessary information with fellow faculties/departments.
9. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
10. Work closely with Dean for identifying the areas of improvements and ensuring the smooth and proper functioning of the programmes.
Working conditions
This job operates in a classroom and office environment on-ground with extensive people interaction.
Qualifications
Education:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
1. Preferably three years of professional experience working in a related field.
Skills:
1. Ability to work with and help students.
2. Ability and willingness to discern and meet the needs of students.
3. Ability to keep a well-organized file structure and apply naming conventions.
4. Strong computer skills including the ability to collect and analyze information.
5. Competent in a wide variety of tools or techniques needed to create animations.
6. Ability to learn new programs.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to establish interpersonal rapport and relate to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures
9. Ability to work with others in a collegial and productive manner.
Domain-specific knowledge:
G Suite Business (if not known then the ability to learn quickly)
The Assistant Program Director is a full time position that helps the Executive Program Director oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of degree and diploma programs including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities in accordance with the concerned departments and the Dean.
