Job Description

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) a Danish INGO has been working in Nepal since 2017 and Kenya since 2018. HPF aims to improve the quality of education, health and livelihood of the rural people of Nepal  and other parts of the world. HPF is looking for a qualified, independent and experienced candidate with high integrity for the following position:

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Management or Administration with 3-5 years of experience with similar role. Fluent English, written and oral. IT skills at experienced user level, particularly MS Office package (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

Position: Country Manager
Location: Country Office in Kathmandu with field visit as required

Key Responsibility:
Approval of programs and co-ordination

a.    Establish strong co-ordination and networking with SWC, Concerned Ministries and Departments
b.    Responsible for SWC/Project Agreement (PA) approvals & compliance
c.    Managing project overview compared to agreed PA scope, including CPAC and DPAC meeting conduction and reporting

Program related tasks
a.    Ensure good coordination of program implementation between HQ and project office
b.    Preparation of guidelines and input to project implementation and evaluation
c.    Conduct program presentations in Kathmandu and field visit with donors and HQ

Program development with Copenhagen team
a.    Responsible for coordination of timely project reporting to HQ
b.    Program development and preparation of project proposals in cooperation with HQ

HR, Finance and Admin management
a.    Manage all Human Resource related tasks for Katmandu and projects team, ensuring all admirustrative tasks are in place for all HR related issues
b.    Supervision of the Sr. Finance Officer (F0) and weekly overview reporting of all finance matters to HQ and project team
c.    Responsible for contact with Nepali attorney, insurance company, audit firm, and other external providers.
