Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Arts or Communications or Media with major in English with a minimum of 3 years practical experience in producing and managing professional communications and content for development, humanitarian, or recovery efforts in Nepal, particularly related to housing recovery and reconstruction. Experience in social media management, preparing professional documents, case studies, graphic design (skills in relevant graphic design software required), and with English to Nepali and Nepali to English translation. High proficiency in MS Office Package, including Excel, Outlook, Word

Organization Summary

Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP)

The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) was established to support the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) and Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) Central Level Programme Implementation Units (CL-PIUs), other relevant government authorities, and Partner Organisations (POs) with coordination of the post-earthquake housing reconstruction.

 

The HRRP is led by CRS Nepal, and other financial contributors include DFID, SDC, Caritas Nepal, Build Change, ACTED, Christian Aid, Plan International, Habitat for Humanity.

 

The HRRP has been approved for the third phase of the platform at the beginning of March 2017 and will run until the end of February 2019.
