Civil Engineer (Building Expert) Senior Level

Job Description

1. Preparing Master Work Plan, resource mobilization plans,  work programs including S-Curve, and keeping track of overall work schedule during construction.
2. Evaluating the work program target meets the actual work progress. 
3. Managing the entire construction project including schedules, manpower deployment method and time, material purchase decisions, etc.
4. Mobilizing the entire workforce including supervisors, laborers, and operators in work. 
5. Performing survey work including joint survey with the client before construction and construction survey during the construction phase. 
6.  Providing line and level during the construction phase. 
7. Taking measurements of work performed at the site for preparing bills.
8. Preparing Running and final bills including measurement sheets and as-built drawings. 
9. Coordinating with the project manager and client’s representative for smooth execution of the project.       
10. Supervising the construction work and evaluating the work being done is as per actual planned
11. Preparing Bar Bending Schedules and workshop drawings. 
12. Preparing material procurement phase-wise list for finishing and structural works.
13. Coordinating with various parties and sub-contractors (such as electrical, sanitary, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Painting, Tile/Marbles, False Ceiling, etc) for the smooth operation of the project and its timely completion. 

Job Specification

1. Minimum Education of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Construction Management- Preferred)
2. Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in building construction projects with basements and must have completed atleast 2 building projects up to finishing work. 
3. Should have knowledge of using software like ETABS, STAAD PRO, AUTO CAD, MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS PROJECT etc. 
4. Able to perform survey work using Total Station and Level Machine
5. Should have fluent speaking and writing proficiency in English and nepali language.
