Job Description

  • Essential: Minimum of 10 years of experience at a senior management and advisory level with international development agencies and /or government agencies. Proven track record of managing and implementing political and/or economic governance programs with a national/subnational/local emphasis in South Asia. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Fluency in Nepali language and English.
  • Desired: Experience in leading governance programming in Nepal. Excellent program and financial management skills; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and ensure timely delivery of quality work; demonstrated knowledge in gender equity and social inclusion programming approaches; strong monitoring and evaluation skills; and ability to assume the position within a short timeframe.
  • Education: Master's or advance degree in political sciences, public policy, international development, economics, social science, or a related field of study.
