Position 2: Shelter Officers (2 positions, North and South)
The main purpose of this role is to plan, communicate, supervise the selection of beneficiaries and monitor all construction works of Dhading Response Programme particularly in rural locations as part of the overall DR Plan. The post-holder will report directly to the DR Construction Project Manager and will be part of the Construction Project Team.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or in relevant subject with 2-3 years post qualification construction experience • Experience of working in rural settings, preferably with earthquake resilient construction • Knowledge and ability in community mobilisation methodologies • Good networking, facilitation, training, coaching and mentoring skills • Proficient language and communication skills in both Nepali and English
