Job Description

Programme Quality Manager (1) based in Kathmandu. Job Duration: Two years contract (renewable)

This is a senior level position in the CSRC management team who is responsible for setting up robust planning, monitoring and evaluation systems within CSRC and its partners; leads effective programe monitoring and evaluation functions. S/he reports to the Executive Director. This position requires travel within the country.

a. Areas of Responsibilities
The Programme Quality Manager is responsible for developing and upholding CSRC planning, monitoring, evaluation, research, policy and reporting systems that provides comprehensive information. S/he maintains robust PME database vis-a-vis indicators provided by the CSRC Strategic Plan, specific projects and periodic work plans. S/he is responsible for conducting monitoring of programmes/projects against the approved plans and strategies. S/he maintains baseline against the set indicators and updates databases. S/he produces periodic progress reports required by multiple stakeholders. S/he takes lead in programme/project review/evaluation/assessment. S/he draws lessons from monitoring and evaluation processes and takes leadership in applying them across the organization. Further, s/he takes the lead in developing project proposals including logical framework.

 

b. Experiences and Skills
The applicants must have:

i) at least three years practical experience in PME function in any relevant institution;

ii) demonstrated experience in setting up PME Systems;

iii) ground experience in maintaining database (software) and data analysis;

iv) monitored programme activities and produced periodic reports; and v) practical experiences in writing project proposals with logical framework (vi) project proposal development.


Desired skills of the applicants include; sound understanding about data management, good knowledge on program, planning, monitoring, documentation and research, IT software, good presentation and editing skills, good verbal and written communication in English and Nepali languages.

c. Academic Qualifications
This position requires minimum Master’s Degree in relevant subject.
