Job Description

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Officer Coordinator (1) based in Kathmandu and 1 based in Sindhupalchok. Job Duration: One year contract (renewable)


This is a middle level position in the CSRC project team who is responsible for planning, monitoring and evaluation as per project plan. S/he reports to the Project Manager/Coordinator


a. Areas of Responsibilities
The PME officer is responsible for developing PME plans of specific project and implementation. S/he maintains robust PME database along against the indicators provided by the specific projects and periodic work plans. S/he is responsible for conducting monitor of projects against the approved plans. S/he maintains baseline against the set indicators and update database. S/he produces periodic update and progress reports. S/he takes the lead in project review/evaluation/assessment. S/he draws lessons from monitoring and evaluation processes and takes facilitating roles in applying them across the organization.

b. Experiences and Skills
The applicant must have: i) at least two years practical experience in PME process in any relevant institution; ii) ground experience in maintaining database (software) and data analysis; and iii) monitoring programme activities and producing periodic reports.
Desired skills of the applicants include; sound understanding about data management, good knowledge on program, planning, monitoring, documentation and research, IT software, good presentation and editing skills, good verbal and written communication in English and Nepali languages.

c. Academic Qualification
This position requires minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant subject.
