Job Description

1. Campaign Officer (1) based in Siraha, Job Duration: 18 months and contract renewable

This is officer level positions in CSRC team who are responsible for managing land campaign of three districts namely Siraha, Udaypur and Okhaldhunga. S/he reports to the Campaign Manager.

a. Areas of Responsibilities

The Campaign Officer takes overall responsibility of effective implementation of the programme in the respective district as per set plan. S/he takes leadership in managing financial and human resources, strengthening partnership with community and other stakeholders. S/he takes lead in planning and budgeting, monitoring and quality assurance. S/he is responsible for producing reports as required by CSRC management. Further, S/heresponsible to support DLRFs to organize the different campaign based on local and district level issues.

b. Experiences and Skills

The applicants must have:

i) at least two years practical experience in campaign management;

ii) good experience of monitoring project activities and providing strategic direction based on monitoring outcomes;

iii) solid expertise on project reporting especially outcomes and results reporting;

iv) hands on experience in managing partnership with government, civil society and community institutions; and

v) experience in managing and motivating staff.

Desired skills of the applicants include; practical experience of campaign facilitation, good understanding about natural resource management, HRBA and Poverty and injustice. Good rapport building skills, good command on communication verbal and written Nepali languages, good understanding of local language.

c. Academic Qualification

This position requires minimum Bachelor degree in development studies, humanities, management, sociology/anthropology or equivalent subject.
